Recipe: Simple Honey Vinaigrette Dressing

I’m going to show you how to make the most delicious salad dressing you’ll ever have. And you’ll have it whipped up super fast because it’s only five tiny ingredients.

I invented this light and refreshing dressing when I was looking for something more satisfying than salt and olive oil, but I’d despair every time I’d trudge down the condiment isle.

It’s light and sweet with a hint of tang from the mild rice vinegar. Chunky spices go best in this recipe because every so often you’ll get a hint of spice(!) from that freshly cracked pepper.  Hungry yet?

Honey Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

Prep time: 5 mins.            Yields: 1 serving           Calories: 60

It is art

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. raw local honey
  • 2 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
  • Sprinkle of salt
  • Dash of fresh-cracked black pepper
  • Sprinkle of garlic


Method:

  • Blend honey into vinegar in small bowl using fork. Mix until dissolved.
  • Add spices to taste, stir, and serve chilled over greens.

Since this recipe is basically a 1:2 ratio, you can upscale it infinitely to make you own bottle or vat of dressing! Hey, you might be having a lot of company this summer. Might as well be prepared.

Also, the only calories you’re getting here is from the honey, so you can adjust the sweetness to taste even and save more calories!
